The training courses include:

A. Basic Training Steps 1-4: This four-part course provides an overview of Y.E.S. Corps as a program provided by Adventist Community Services, including its history, structure, management and activities--specifically its role in community service and disaster response.

B. Advanced Training Steps 1-3: This three-part course is designed to give hands-on training in disaster response and preparation for deployment. It also teaches the various classifications of disasters, the roles of disaster response team members and terminology specific to disaster response.

C. Leadership Training Steps 1-4: This four-part course teaches what leadership really is, the tools and techniques to become a more effective leader, the roles of a Y.E.S. Corps officer, volunteer management, common potential hazards and the importance of personal safety.

D. Effective Communication Series: This powerful series is presented as a continuation of Leadership Training or a stand-alone tool for success. Effective communication is a cornerstone of better leadership and better relationships. Four modules focus on listening skills, managing difficult people, presentation skills and developing effective teams.
